Hole #1
The opening hole is very traditional in that it allows the player to start the round with a modest test. This mid-length par 4 plays downhill all the way from tee to green. It is a lovely setting with the green set at the base of a large hill, framed by trees. The only challenge off the tee is for the longer player to avoid a small bunker on the right side of the fairway. At the green, three bunkers are positioned along the back and right side of the green to catch any long shots that have been miscalculated on the downhill approach.

Hole #2
The second hole sets up beautifully, with the tee shot on this short par 4 playing across a pond lined by a traditional formal stone wall. This uphill hole is well-bunkered, putting a premium on shot placement instead of shot length. The large green falls from back to front and is guarded by a large left front bunker and a small devilish pot bunker along the right side. This is one of the more visually stunning holes on the course.

Hole #3
The third hole plays back along the opposite side of the lake from Hole #2. The tee shot must be carefully, played as the pond is hard against the left side of the fairway along the length of the landing area. Two bunkers and an uphill slope help to buffer the player from the out of bounds that lurks to the right of the hole. This mid-length par 4 will require a deft approach shot to the green which is protected by three bunkers.

Hole #4
The first par 3 on the golf course is a beauty. The second shortest of the four par 3's on the course, it plays from tees set at the top of a ridge sharply downhill to a green placed naturally to the right of a wooded creek at the base of a large hill. The green surface falls from back right to front left with a large meandering bunker running the length of the green on the left. A small pot bunker on the right will catch plenty of slightly errant shots.

Hole #5
The fifth hole brings golfers to the bottom of the valley, where they will play along a large dry creek. This short par 4 is one of the more visually striking holes on the golf course with its large, well-shaped bunkers dominating the view from the tee. Again, players must consider their placement of the tee shot to set up their approach shot to another large, well-bunkered green surface.

Hole #6
This second par 3 hole, one of the two on the front nine, begins a challenging three hole stretch. It plays over 200 yards long from the gold and blue tees and is the longest of the four par 3 holes on the course. From tee to green, the hole is slightly downhill, but not much. The long green is open in the front for run up shots from players hitting long irons or fairway woods. A large bunker to the left of the green surface creates some additional challenge for hole locations on the left side of the green, while the fairway wraps around the right side to create some bail out room.

Hole #7
The longest par 3 on the golf course is followed up with the longest par 5 on the golf course. The seventh hole follows the dry creek for the length of the hole. A secondary creek crosses the hole at the first landing area, defining the tee shot options for players. The hole narrows down at the second landing area as a bunker and out of bounds pinches in from the right, while the creek remains a hazard along the left. Three well positioned shots are required to negotiate this tough hole.

Hole #8
The 8th hole is a reachable par 5 for the longer player, but requires an accurate tee shot to steer clear of the hazard along the left and the out of bounds guarding the right. This flat hole plays back along the dry creek with a solo bunker on the outside of the dogleg and trees defining the inside of it. The dogleg right plays to a very difficult green surface tilted sharply to the front. A large, deep bunker is positioned along the front right to add additional challenge to the approach shot.

Hole #9
The front nine concludes with a lengthy uphill par 4, bringing the golfer back to the beautiful clubhouse. A well placed tee shot is necessary to avoid the strategically placed bunker lining the left side of the fairway, while keeping clear of the trees that guard the right side. This 9th hole is ranked the most difficult par 4 on the course for a reason! It demands an accurate tee shot while hitting to an elevated green guarded by deep bunkers tha many consider par a good score on this hole.

Hole #10
The back nine begins with a short, risk-reward par 4 playing sharply downhill. The hole is benched into a steep hillside, high on the right and low on the left. The undulating contours of the fairway and the miscellaneous placement of bunkers creates a multitude of options for players on the tee. Though it is out of sight from the tee, the well-bunkered green is drivable for the most aggressive players, while a smart lay-up will leave a short wedge shot.

Hole #11
This longer par 4 is one of the more challenging holes on the golf course. The elevated tees play across a low valley to a fairway benched into a tall hillside, high on the right and low on the left. Missing the fairway off the tee will spell disaster for the second shot. The green is also benched into the same slope. Three bunkers ring the lower left side of the green helping to keep errant shots in play, while a large oak tree short of the green narrows the approach shot options.

Hole #12
This par 3 hole can be played from two distinctly different sets of tees. The upper tees play from a hillside across the valley to the green which is perched above a dry creek. A large, deep bunker guards the green on this angle. The secondary tees play from the right into the length of the green. The twelfth hole is very striking and diverse.

The thirteenth hole is a mid-length, straight par 4. The tees are positioned atop a hill creating a dynamic, comprehensive view of the hole. The right side of the hole is defined by a steep, wooded slope, while a bunker left of the landing area and another bunker front left of the green add to the strategy of the hole.

Hole #14
Players tee off from the far side of the dry creek bed on this short par 5, playing across the creek on their tee shot to a level fairway lined by mature oak trees on the left, and a single bunker on the right. From here the strategic options of the hole really come into effect. The hole plays slightly uphill from the first landing area to the green. Two bunkers short of the green bracket the second shot landing area, while a steep grass bunker fronts the green on the right side. Players have to decide how aggressively to play this hole, which is reachable in two, but fraught with hazards if the shots are not executed properly.

This shorter par 4 is full of options for the players, especially off the tee. A relatively flat hole, two bunkers are offset and frame the landing area, requiring the player to be selective in their tee shot placement. The long green slopes from back to front and is guarded by a large bunker all along the right side wrapping just around the front right. Though it is a shorter hole, two well-played shots are required on this tree-lined hole.

Hole #16
This par 3 is the shortest hole on the golf course and playing from an elevated tee down to the green shortens the actual yardage from each tee. The hole is visually very stunning with three bunkers wrapping around the front of the green from the left side to the right side. Accuracy with a short iron or wedge is paramount in order to avoid a tough bunker shot. The green surface slopes from back to front.

Hole #17
The final par 5 on the course is a devilish hole. Although it isn't overly long, a small pond short of the green can play havoc with a player's second shot. Deciding whether to lay up or carry the pond is the major decision here. The green approach is well-bunkered, further challenging the aggressive player who is tempted to go for it. Overall, the hole plays level from tee to green and is lined with mature trees on both sides.

Hole #18
The home hole is a mid-length par 4 that plays downhill on the tee shot and then sharply uphill on the second shot. At the green, two deep bunkers guard the green, which is large and pitched from back right to front left. Players need to make sure they use enough club on the approach shot as anything short of the green surface will be in big trouble, either ending up in one of the deep bunkers, or rolling down the steep approach slope.
